After successfully hosting the pandemic-altered ACM Awards on Sept. 16, Keith Urban can finally âslow downâ and enjoy the music.
Keith will release his new studio album, The Speed of Now: Part 1, on Sept. 18.
âIn October 2019, this album title came to me,â says Keith. âI liked it because I felt like life was flying by so fast. But musicâfor meâhas always been the place where it slows down and doesnât even exist. I would never have imagined that, in 2020, this album title would take on a whole new meaning.â
Keith has already shared a number of tunes from the 16-song collection, including âWe Were,â âPolaroid,â âSuperman,â âChange Your Mind,â âOne Too Many,â and current single, âGod Whispered Your Name.â Keithâs upcoming album features a few collaborations, including âOut of the Cageâ with Breland and guitarist Nile Rodgers, as well as duet âOne Too Manyâ with pop star Pink. The album also includes Keithâs 2019 single, âWe Were,â which features vocals from one of the tuneâs songwriters, Eric Church.
The Speed of Now: Part I will follow Keithâs 2018 album, Graffiti U, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboardâs Top Country Albums chart.
