If you didnât make it to Nashville in September for the 17th annual AmericanaFest, you can still catch some of the action thanks to Austin City Limits on PBS.
Austin City Limits will air highlights of the 17th annual Americana Honors & Awards on PBS on Feb. 9 (check local listings) with performances by Brandi Carlile (âThe Jokeâ), Buddy Guy (âDamn Right, Iâve Got The Bluesâ), Iâm With Her (âOverlandâ), Irma Thomas (âTime Is On My Sideâ), Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (âWhite Manâs Worldâ), John Prine (âSummerâs Endâ), k.d. lang (âTrail Of Broken Heartsâ), Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real (âForget About Georgiaâ), Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats (âHey Mamaâ), Fantastic Negrito, Nelson and Rateliff (âFortunate Sonâ), Margo Price (âA Little Painâ), Rosanne Cash (âEveryone But Meâ) and Tyler Childers (âNose On The Grindstoneâ).
The one-hour special will also be available online beginning on Feb. 10 at 12 a.m. ET.
2018 AmericanaFest took over Nashville during the week of Sept. 11â16, with the Honors & Awards ceremony on Sept. 12 at Nashvilleâs Ryman Auditorium serving as the weekâs centerpiece. More than 250 acts performed more than 500 shows over the five-day festival that took place at 62 different venues.
